Wow! Can that be said of you? I know I have difficulty with praising God in all circumstances. I’m working on it as James 1:2 says “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of you faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. Living a life filled with praise and joy takes focus upon the Lord!
My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
I love it that you are joining me each day during Lent to rejoice in the Lord and exalt His name.
I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he save him out of all his troubles.
David let’s us see his true thankfulness to God. God answered his prayers, delivered him, gave him a glow in faith and saved him out of his troubles. Do you need rescuing today? God is able and willing to do for you what he did for David. You just need to seek God and call upon Him. He will hear you.
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
God loves us so much he sends his angels to watch out for us by camping around, surrounding us. Place your fear, devotion, reverence and love in God today so you can feel His arms encircling you. Praise Him as you await His deliverance.
