Second Sunday of Lent

Well, we’ve made it to our second day of rest in this Lenten season.  How are you doing?  Are you faithfully keeping the promises you made to God when you started on Ash Wednesday?  If you have faltered, do not lose hope.  Begin again.  One of my favorite verses always encourages me and I hope it does you too.   Lamentations 3:21-23  “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:  The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;  his mercies never come to an end;  they are new every morning;  great is your faithfulness.” (ESV)

Begin again today with an attitude of humility and thankfulness.  Read this psalm with joy and thanksgiving in your heart!

Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise to the LORD all the earth!
Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!
Know that the LORD, he is God!  It is he who made us, and we are the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!
For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.  (ESV)

Have a blessed Sunday rejoicing and worshipping the Lord!,
